Purpose of the Reconstruction Fund

• To finance the construction, reconstruction, replacement, remodeling, restoration or rehabilitation of infrastructure, facilities, historical architecture in heritage sites and traditional districts, public works, and equipment located in areas affected by a disaster (regions, provinces, and municipalities).
• The Fund is authorized to receive contributions for a period of 2 years after an area is officially decreed as a Disaster Area.

The Ministry of Finance is responsible for administering the Fund, allocating its resources, and providing pertinent technical and material support.
